Comes rolled up tight and wants to stay curved at first. Try reverse rolling for a bit and I saw others suggesting a sink full of hot water dip to speed up the process. I used it immediately the first day to detail strip a pistol, the magnets and walled off sections worked great. Like the fact it's made to hang up for storage. Mat is thick enough and stuck steady to my particular table ymmv. As long as it doesn't fall apart in the future I consider it a good buy.
