Needed something to protect induction cooktop from items falling from upper cabinets in RV. This is perfect with a rubber edged cutting board on top.Storage is a breeze! Cleaning is a breeze! Performance is awesome! Versatility, WOW!I use these for my drain board underneath the drying rack. You know those things in life that make you oddly happy, well this is one of those things for me.If you have gone years cleaning one of the old drain boards you will love this thing. One because they can be easily stored in a reasonable amount of space so you can always have a clean one on hand. Two you can toss this in your laundry to be sanitized in the hot load and then dry it on high heat (there is a reason hospital, rest homes, and hotels do not use cold water for linens and use high heat to dry linens).Also no more worrying about needing a place to set a scalding pot when draining pasta, etc at the sink.The only drawback will be if you have people that are sloppy with water, the water will gradually get under the mat. You also have to ensure the counter is 100% dry before putting the clean mat down. To me the minor drawbacks are well worth not having one of those nasty old drain boards that are a total hassle to clean. You also do not have to listen to friends' wise cracks about how it looks like your grandma gave you the dish board and you must feel obligated to use it.If you are showing a house while living in it you can pick the whole thing up and hide it under the sink or wherever for those last minute showing notices.Definitely great to save cleaning up at the BBQer too. Nothing to worry about melting and no glass to worry about falling and breaking.Very durableI couldn’t find a small enough and almost square under sink mat for my vanity. This one works well and will protect my vanity from potential water damage!I can set hot things on this, dry hand-wash items, and it cleans up like new in the dishwasher.I am using this mat on top of my dryer to prevent scratches. I have my laundry products in glass jars and it is nice to have the mat to sit them on.This is a perfect size for the counter. Easy to clean and it stays firm without slipping!2nd time purchasing these mats.
