This crafting mat is self-healing and is also used as fabric cutting mat, dressmaking cutting board, modelling board, a versatile hobby board and are ideal sewing products and a must have item for your sewing accessories.
SELF-HEALING - The self-healing cutting mat A2 consists of 5 layers of different PVC materials. When an incision is made, the top layers of the self-healing mat contract together to hide the cut and keep the surface flat.
SUSTAINABLE - The two underlying layers are made from strong recycled PVC, which reduces the environmental footprint of our product. The middle layer gives the sewing mat robustness. To maintain quality, do not bend the craft cutting mat.
PROFESSIONAL GRID - Both sides of the hobby mat include a metric patchwork grid. The patterns and text are professionally applied, ensuring long-lasting readability.
COLOUR & SIZE - This art mat is black on one side and grey on the other. Elan cutting mats have an imperial scale available in sizes A0(35.4 x 47 inch), A1 (23.5 x 35.5 inch), A2 (18 x 23.5 inch), A3 (12 x 17.5 inch), A4 (9 x 12 inch).

Exactly as expected, a self-healing mat as in in the picture and it came fast in a flat box and not rolled up. Perfect.I loved the cutting mat. We did however have a problem with the item in shipping. Company addressed the issue promptly and offered several solutions. All taken care of in a timely manner.DurabilityIt’s perfect! I have not used it yet. But I am very impressed with this product. I bought the A3 size and it’s good but I probably should have bought a bigger one. For now this one is going to be amazing because I also want to carry it with me in a folder and in a dedicated bag. A bit expensive but I don’t mind paying slightly more when the quality matches the price and service. Fast delivery too.The mat came quickly and appeared to be in good condition. I've used it twice to protect my wooden table when doing some lino cutting. The mat does provide some protection but I was gutted to discover lots of small scratches on my table afterwards. The mat would be fine for protecting table from paint or glue (but so would old newspaper!) but I don't recommend using this if you're doing lino cutting, anything with a stanley knife or similar.The blade glides smoothly and doesn't leave any dents. I am very happy with the mat, the only gripe being that unlike Megamat, it's not pinnable, the reason why I have given it 4 stars. Also, it's in metric form, don't know if they make any in imperial format, but then it's a good cutting mat and I have tape measure and ruler so I can manageThis mat is superb quality self healing works well. Only groan is the colour, when using the mat to cut from spreus the part if small becomes Invisible why not make them in white or yellow that would show up the part at once. That's the only moan, otherwise fantastic.good quality nice size and works well - good value for money - stiff enough to lay beside a cupboard and pull up for use whenever the knives come out to protect your desktop!
